There is no one-size-fits-all for mental healthcare. That is why I blend evidence-based traditional and creative modalities based on your needs. I provide trauma-informed crisis care, as well as
individual and group therapy that focuses on holistic growth utilizing elements of the following modalities:
● Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
● Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
● Mindfulness
● Motivational Interviewing
● Narrative Therapy
● TARPG
● STAIR
● Harm Reduction
In addition to my work as a therapist, I have worked for over 10 years with the unhoused community as a volunteer, within the military community, and as a behavioral health technician
at a substance use rehabilitation center. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on the effects of poverty, exposure to violence (military combat, sexual trauma, intimate partner violence), and rejection of identity on individuals and their families.
I have also had the opportunity to work with children in mentorship roles and provided organized cohesive
skill building activities, homework support and social guidance. These positions required extensive crisis training and experience in mental health crises.

Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology

Additional Certifications:
● Therapeutic Assisted Role Playing Games (TARPG) ~ STAR Institute for Sensory Processing
Role Play Therapy (individual and group). This combines CBT, DBT, Role Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play therapy and similar modalities into an immersive therapeutic experience using existing games (i.e. Daggerheart, Dungeons and Dragons, etc.).
● Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) ~ STAIR Institute
Psychoeducation and narrative therapy for trauma (individual and group).
Navigating mental health can be complex and can manifest in multiple ways simultaneously.
Therefore, my focus is to provide strengths-based, client-centered care with a therapeutic experience tailored to your specific goals. Once goals are set, we explore strategies for trigger recognition, emotional identity and use of coping tools in real time. From there, we get curious about the causes and unpack them in an affirming space.
Some sliding scale and crisis slots are available.
