The teenage years are full of change—raw, real, and sometimes overwhelming. It’s a sensitive time.. a time of becoming who you are.
Inner Quest provides a safe space to slow down, tune in, and get curious about what’s really going on inside—your thoughts, feelings, fears, truths.. your strengths and hopes. Learn how to make sense of it in a way that feels comfortable for you.
You don't have to figure it out all at once, and you certainly don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk with you—at your pace, in your way.
Some teens may feel uneasy about beginning therapy. To help with this, I provide options to build comfort as quickly as possible. I offer adult colouring books, a variety of art materials, playing cards, your favourite music, fidget toys, etc. – or, you are more than welcome to bring your own items of interest. We can also just sit and chat — I'm happy to guide our sessions in a direction that feels best for you.
My approach is person-centered and integrative. This means that I focus on you —your thoughts, feelings, and what you're going through. I draw from different methods and therapeutic modalities to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered. I integrate components of several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Parts Work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I'm also happy to teach relaxation techniques, coping skills, and communication skills. Each approach offers unique tools and perspectives to help guide your therapeutic journey.
