My Approach

My work as a therapist is rooted in a deep respect for the inner world. I believe healing happens when we feel seen, safe, and gently supported to explore the parts of ourselves that long to be heard. My approach is grounded in presence, compassion, and curiosity — and I strive to create a space where you can show up just as you are.

My approach is client-centered and collaborative. This means that you set the pace and focus—we work on what matters most to you, in a way that feels safe and supportive. If you don't know where to begin, that is completely okay — I am here to help you.

I’ve always been drawn to understanding the human experience. Over the years, this curiosity has led me to study the intersections of psychology, education, and spirituality, and I continue to be humbled by the capacity we all hold for personal growth, learning, and healing. I will always be a life-long student and teacher.

While my personal interests involve the mind-body-spiritual connection, our work together is always grounded in your unique needs and worldview. Sessions are fully secular unless you choose to explore spiritual themes as part of your journey.

Therapeutic Modalities

Therapeutic Modalities

Therapeutic Modalities

Every person’s Inner Quest is different, which is why I have an integrative approach from various therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs.

Depending on what feels most supportive, this may include elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-based work. I often work to unblend “parts of self," helping you to develop greater understanding and compassion for the many inner voices that naturally show up inside — the parts of us that carry different emotions, thoughts, or needs we all experience.

I've worked in various roles within the school system - as an Early Childhood Educator, an Educational Assistant, and then as an Ontario Certified Teacher. Deeply committed to supporting students with anxiety and emotional dysregulation, I pursued a Master’s in Clinical Psychology in Education at Columbia University, specializing in Spirituality Mind Body Practice and studying under one of the founders of CASEL (the leading organization for social emotional learning research). My work later focused on managing a specialized BC school district program for children unable to attend traditional school classrooms due to intensive behavioural and mental health needs. I supported their emotional safety, self-regulation, and reintegration into classrooms—an experience that deeply shaped my path toward becoming a clinical psychotherapist.

To take a peak into what inspires me, take a look at the images within my website. I love hiking to find beautiful nature views, and playing amateur photographer. For more than a decade, I’ve intentionally embarked on my own inner quest.. exploring my physical, emotional, and spiritual growth as a way to deepen my understanding of myself. This journey continues to shape and inspire my life choices today.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”  ~ Carl Jung
