INNER QUEST COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPYINNER QUEST COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPYINNER QUEST COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY

Storm Burgoyne

Neuro-affirming counselling for ADHD & Autism (AuDHD) across the lifespan, supporting kids (6+), teens, students, and adults.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#009010), and Canadian Certified Counsellor offering collaborative and compassionate therapy. I am passionate about working with you to find your inner strengths and overcome the obstacles that are keeping you from living a fulfilling life. As a neurodivergent clinician, I bring lived experience and evidence-based tools to design strategies that fit with your brain, build emotional regulation skills, and reduce overwhelm overload.

My Approach

Areas Of Specialty

Areas Of Specialty

My approach is neuro-affirming, integrative, and trauma-informed. We’ll work with your brain, not against it, pacing sessions to your nervous system and reducing burnout and masking in a welcoming, inclusive space. You set the direction; if you’re unsure where to begin, we’ll map it out together. You can expect steady respect, thoughtful curiosity, and gentle, purposeful challenges when they support growth.

With children (6+), I use play-based and expressive arts to help them process big feelings and practice skills in developmentally safe ways. Teens and students often benefit from identity-safe support, executive-function tools, and help navigating social pressures and family dynamics. Adults typically blend values-based change with practical systems and boundaries that hold up in day-to-day life.

I draw on a holistic, evidence-based approaches, tailoring to each person, to address drivers of distress, build resilience, and create sustainable, meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative and down-to-earth: rather than feeling stiff or worksheet-heavy, we talk, break things down, and co-design small, doable strategies you can use between sessions.

I see you as the expert on your life, and I’ll walk alongside you as we move toward the goals that matter most to you.
